About Vampire Lift/PRP
PRP therapy, also known as a vampire lift, is a natural anti-aging treatment method that does not require surgery or any synthetic agents. For this treatment, the doctor extracts platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from your own blood, processes it, and then injects it back into the skin. The injected plasma stimulates receptors in the skin that encourage the increased release of growth factors. The growth factors, in turn, stimulate the natural regeneration processes of the skin, the formation of hyaluronic acid and new collagen, and promote blood circulation in the treated tissue. The connective tissue is thus strengthened and the elasticity and hydration of the skin is significantly improved. A vampire lift is mainly used for small facial wrinkles as well as stretch marks or wrinkles on the décolleté, but PRP therapy can also be used for alternative purposes, such as stimulating hair growth or reducing scars.
